EIS601 Aspects of public and private life in ancient Greece
Professor: Andreas MORAKIS (adjunct faculty for 2020-21)
The course aims to show aspects of Greeks’ daily life, public or private, based mainly on literary sources or inscriptions. Students also get to know religious and cultural aspects.
After the completion of the courses the students will be able to comprehend the basic elements of daily life, as well as to know the most important primary sources.
